The Platte - Buchannan county line was adjusted to a series of surveyed points that were based on a survey performed under contract with the Missouri Land Survey Program, August 18, 2003. Missouri Land Survey microfilm location - 165/1047 - 165/1048. The Montgomery - Gasconade county line was adjusted based on the tax mapping from both counties and the use of aerial photography. Sections 10, 11, 14, 15, in Mississippi County Surveyor Record Book 5 at pages 124 and 125, dated April 10, 1956. Section 26 in Mississippi County Surveyor Record Book 2 at pages 58 and 59, dated July 6, 1882. Adjusted a portion of the county boundary between Butler and Dunklin County and Butler and Stoddard County. As defined in Missouri statute 46.061, 'thence east along the southern boundary of the state to the middle of the main channel of the St. Francis river; thence up the middle of the main channel thereof to the place of beginning.' Adjustment was made based on NAIP 2012 Arial photography. Adjusted a portion of the county boundary between Butler and Stoddard county in Township 23 North, Range 8 East, based on GLO plat and county tax mapping. Corrected a portion of the county boundary between New Madrid and Stoddard county, Township 23 North, Range 13 East, section 7 and Township 23 North, Range 12 East, section 12.
